September 20th - 22nd 

Helen, GA   - Alpine Village Arts and Crafts show -  Fri 1am-6pm, Sat 10am-6pm, Sun 10am-4pm 

This show takes place along one of the best trout rivers in Northeast Georgia. Helen hosts annual Trout tournaments. It will also be taking place during Oktoberfest so come out an enjoy the authentic German/Bavarian beers and other items this area is known for! Annual attendance over the two days is usually between 20,000 and 30,000 according to the event coordinator.

November 1st - 2nd

Urbana, VA - 67th Annual Oyster Festival 

Live music, arts and crafts, two parades (the Fireman Parade on Friday night, and the Festival Parade on Saturday afternoon), the renowned oyster-shucking contest, and children's activities are all major attractions. A variety of foods is available from numerous vendors. Annual attendance over the two days is in between 50,000 and 75,000 according to the town council. During the festival, the town is closed to traffic in the afternoon on Friday and for most of the day Saturday. Admission to the event is free of charge, although there is a fee for parking within the vicinity of the festival.
